Many organizations have spent inordinate amounts of time on producing checks, when they can easily be printed on a laser printer. If you haven't already tried this, it is never too late to begin.

If your business is small, you might want to order a larger supply of checks since the prices per check are much higher for quantities under 1,000 checks. It is also a good idea to keep a large supply so you do not run out of checks. When you run low on checks, you risk angering your employees and suppliers when you cannot pay them on time.

Saving Money with Discount Checks

When you purchase your checks from an online printer, you can save a large percentage off bank prices. The quality is just as good, and the printers are well-equipped to print checks according to bank standards. Once you have ordered checks, it is even easier to re-order them from the printer. They will save your information so that if you need replacement checks quickly, you can get them easily.

Of course, when you keep a large supply of checks on hand, you must keep them under lock and key. Check fraud is a common problem so you will want to protect your checks from theft and forgery. However, most companies already have a good system in place, and switching from standard checks to laser checks will not make any difference.
