Utilitarian Pedestals

Pedestals made by Dakota set the standard for platforms for computerized graphic systems. Designed to accommodate digitizers by the major manufacturers, a Dakota pedestal is available in just the pedestal configuration or as a complete workstation. More than just support, these pedestals complement the entire digitizer operation by providing for fluid movement and adjustments.

A steel frame provides extraordinary strength for the structure that is the foundation for the large components of the pedestal. A rack-and-pinion mechanism allows for adjustments from 28.5 to 44.5 inches for the digitizer height so the operator can change the work area to the most comfortable level. The tilt of the platform ranges from 0 to almost 90 degrees to adapt to the specific needs of the user.

Varied Configurations

No need to purchase everything you think you might need at once. All pedestal systems have a basic platform to accommodate digitizers up to 44 inches by 60 inches. With the modular construction, you can add to the basic configuration as you find the need for another component.

Computer shelves, monitor and printer arms, and table tops to use with roll-up digitizers are available and can be bought separately. Several accessories designed to make these pedestal platforms convenient and comfortable include levelers or casters for ease of movement. All in all, these structures have a smooth operation so your focus can stay on your work product.
