Custom Logo Design

If you've been advertising your business name with that same standard-looking font for years and years, it's time to think about getting yourself a nice custom logo design. One way to prove how important logos are is to think about how many national retail chains don't use a recognizable logo. The answer is none. There's a reason McDonald's has been using that trademark "M" logo for so long!

Finding Your Custom Logo

If you're in the market for a logo, the smartest thing you can do is to get in touch with a graphic designer. Graphic designers love designing logos, and if you enlist one they'll probably even throw a whole handful of them at you. The fun (and tough) part is deciding which one you're going to use!

A good logo is the starting point for building your company's identity. It is the image that people will find on your signs, your advertisements, and of course your products. It is the smart little symbol that will immediately evoke your wonderful business in the minds of millions of potential customers. (Okay, we're getting ahead of ourselves, but it's fun to dream!)

Good logos should do two things: communicate the name of your company (at least in part), and reflect the spirit of your company. If you're running a mortuary, you're going to want a design that's much different from the local balloon shop. In both cases, however, it's just as important to create a memorable image that will draw new customers and bring old ones back.
