Interactive BrokersWritten by James Lyons Interactive brokers offer a great deal of convenience for their clients. The Internet is taking away the need for telephones and in-person visits and allowing people to conduct business without leaving the home. We are still dealing with human beings but we don't have to suffer the hassles of getting connected with these human beings. I love that part. Interactive brokers bring brokerage into the home, which, in my mind, is a great thing. Recently, I sold a condo in Santa Monica and received a note from the bank for the sell. I made a tidy little profit but needed a lump sum of cash now instead of receiving a stream of income over time. My money is more valuable to me now and I know I can make it grow at a higher percentage today and make it worth more than it would be in ten years. Interactive Brokers Equals Business OpportunitiesInstead of marveling at how well interactive brokers are doing, take a look at actually becoming an interactive broker. It's a business you can run from home and run how you choose. You can work it one hour a week or 50 hours a week. It's up to you. For instance, the skill required to be a note broker is minimal. I rarely describe things as "easy," but this is as easy as it gets. Interactive brokers enjoy lives you wish you had. Well, the ones who work for themselves enjoy the kind of lives I'm suggesting. They offer convenience and provide an incredibly valuable service to the working public and make a killing doing it. That's the way I looked at it. I can make good money helping people get what they want, and I can do it from home.
