WealthWritten by James Lyons True wealth usually requires leverage. Business owners have mastered the idea of leverage and they understand that leverage is the one way to build any substantial income. Owners leverage themselves through employees. If a business owner has 24 people in his organization, each person could work just one hour and 24 hours of work would get accomplished. That is the power of ownership. In essence, owners work smarter and not harder. They realize that financial freedom requires help. Business owners realize they will need employees to absorb the work. I seriously doubt the owner of a Starbucks® store is still pouring cups of coffee. If he is, it's probably on his yacht in the Caribbean. The Difference Between Wealth and RichesSome people claim they want wealth and others aspire for riches. In my mind, wealth means the whole thing--money, time, freedom, love. The word "riches," on the other hand, connotes material possession and that's it. However, what good are material things if you have no time to enjoy them. Most home business opportunities allow people to realize wealth. There are a million get rich quick programs out there. Anything that promotes the idea of get rich quick or money for nothing is selling you something. Succeeding in business requires work, commitment, perseverance, and a willingness to ignore the negative people who have no idea what they are talking about. Those who stick it out will see true happiness.
