Simplex Time Clocks

In case you weren't aware of it, Simplex is a big name in old fashioned time clocks. This makes good sense considering that the Simplex company has been making time clocks since 1894. They have some really great models available that bring back the old time feel of the older style time clocks.

While some feel that they have a "retro" or old time feel, Simplex time clocks are extremely well-built pieces of machinery. Though they may not have all of the complex functions of a PC based or electronic time clock, they still offer a reliable means for keeping track of an employee's hours. For some, the old time appeal of these time clocks warrants their continued use.

Some of the Simplex models, like the KCF, feature an old style hand clock. The KCF features a sturdy heavy-duty metal casing and even metal wheels. This is an industrial strength time clock that is jam-proof and designed to withstand years of daily use. It also features such amenities as a self-advancing ribbon and an easy-to-set clock.

The Simplex "Tombstone"

One of the other classic Simplex models is the one that has the ominous nickname "the Tombstone." If you've ever seen the TCF or "Tombstone," you know it's immediately obvious how it earned this nickname. This model, like the KCF, features a heavy-duty steel case cover, metal wheels and a large hand clock. It also stamps the month, date, minutes and even AM and PM. Weighing in at 15 pounds, the Tombstone is a time clock designed to last for generations.
