The Epson 2200 inkjet printer is the first desktop printer to use seven pigment inks. This is just one feature in this carefully-designed Stylus Photo printer that allows it to produce archival photographs. With a 2880 x 1440 dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution, and ultra-fine droplets, this machine turns out superior photos.

This is an inkjet for serious photographers who do portraiture or fine art. If preservation is important, the photos produced by the Epson 2200 inkjet will last up to 90 years. Operating at high speed, this inkjet can apply artwork on media up to 13 inches by 44 inches.

Special Epson Inkjet Ink and Cartridges

Pigment inks, as opposed to dye-based inks, produce the deepest, darkest blacks. With seven individual UltraChrome inks, this large-format machine offers borderless photo printing on glossy media. Production is in six sizes, with a roll paper holder and automatic cutter to use in turning out 4 x 6 photographs.

Designed to reproduce the most subtle variations in color, the seven Epson ink cartridges enable PRINT Image Matching. This technology permits the production of superior-quality photos from PRINT Image Matching-enabled digital cameras. This multi-featured machine also has interchangeable Photo and Matte black inks.
