Printer Tape

Printer tape-the paper rolls onto which so many of our business machines print important data, should be purchased with care. While it seems like one roll is pretty much like another, this isn't the case. When you choose to buy printer tape, it's more than just a question of getting the right deal on the price.

The Right Printer Tape for Your Machines

When you go to your business machine and cash register tape supplier, you should be asking specific questions. You should know exactly what make and model of machines you're running, and find the proper receipt paper for each. You probably already know that you have to use rolls of the exact specified widths, otherwise they won't work.

You should also know that you need to keep other considerations in mind, as well. Should your machines be printing onto thermal paper, or bond? If bond, how many ply-one, two, or three? There are a lot of questions.

It's critical that you use the right kind of printer tape and other supplies. You've spent a lot of money on this equipment, and don't want to cause any malfunctions. When you shop online, be certain that you're carefully comparing machine specifications with the roll compatibilities that you see.
