Display booths provide a visual message for event attendees. Walking the show floor of any industry event can be overwhelming for conference participants. With hundreds of exhibitors at each show, picking and choosing which booths to visit requires thought and time management.

Ranking Display Booths

Most attendees will admit they don't have enough time to visit each booth. Therefore, many of those people determine beforehand which display booths will be visited. This is done by reviewing the floor plan and evaluating the hundreds of direct mail pieces exhibitors send to pre-registrants.

This cut-throat competition motivates exhibitors to try new methods of reaching prospects. Prospecting is done through on-site promotions, giveaways and thought-provoking direct mail pieces mailed out a week in advance. These methods, in combination with effective display booths can ensure the attendees come calling.

It's All in the Message

The message on an exhibit should be obvious. An exhibitor may only have a few seconds to appeal to each attendee. Without the right messaging an attendee could walk right by. Some organizations have successfully attracted prospects through addressing industry pain points with concise text and illustrations.
