Carousel Gumball Machines

Do you remember carousel gumball machines? You probably do, but you might never have known what the exact name was. They have been around since the 1920s, so you have likely come across them at some point. They consist of a glass globe, a little red top that looks like a cap and an all-metal red base. There isn't a little door to open where your candy comes up. There is, instead, what looks like the bottom of a waterslide.

Your candy is caught at the bottom of a chute. Carousel gumball machines are some of the most fun. You could recognize them from miles away. I even had some friends that had them in their homes. I was so jealous that they had their own bubblegum machines. Now that I'm a little older, I didn't realize how inexpensive they were!

Carousel Gumball Machines for Business

When you want to start a vending machine business with carousel gumball machines, you will need to purchase many machines. You will also need to purchase stands. Most places won't let you sit them on countertops. The good thing about this is that you can get stands that hold more than one machine. You can fill them with gum, nuts or smaller candies.

If you have a three-headed stand, the previous arrangement is perfect. You provide a little something for everyone. When you have several machines, you want to provide variety. The more variety you have, the more people you will appeal to. Your aim is to make money. Seven out of ten people will stop and use a vending machine each day. Make sure all seven are intrigued by what's in yours.
