Sparkle Power, Inc. is an industry leader in the manufacture of power supplies intended for use in personal computers. Sparkle does not produce a wide variety of power supplies, but the models they do produce are used in a lot of the world's personal computers. Let's take a look at some of the features of Sparkle's popular power supplies.

Features of Sparkle Power Supplies

The FSP200-50PL is one of Sparkle's most popular power supply models. The FSP200-50PL offers 200 watts of power and works with Pentium 4 and AMD Athlon XP systems. The FSP200-50PL is approved by both the UL and the CSA, and has been tested for 100,000 hours at 25 degrees Celsius.

The FSP200-50PL features an internal 4mm fan that offers low ripple and noise output. It has a 100 burn-in under high ambient temperature (50 degrees Celsius), and is 100 percent high-pot tested. In terms of protection, the FSP200-50PL offers output overage protection and individual short circuit protection on all outputs.

Sparkle power supplies are a good choice both for those who are building a computer from scratch and for those who need to replace a power supply in an existing system. Like most power supply manufacturers, Sparkle offers models that accommodate wattages from 200 up to 400. All Sparkle power supplies will work with 115 volt AC current or 230 volts (which is used in Europe and most of the rest of the world).
