When it comes to aviation education, there are a number of different professional schools and training facilities to choose from. Many of these facilities offer scholarships to students who qualify. One of the most popular ways to earn money for aviation training is to join the military. This is a great way to learn how to operate and maintain government aircraft while earning money for college.

If you want to receive financial aid for aviation training, many professional organizations and government organizations offer scholarships as well. The Experimental Aircraft Association, or EAA, offers scholarships to students who demonstrate an interest in the field of aviation. Applicants are judged on academic performance and commitment to becoming a leader in the field of aviation.

The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association offers two scholarships, both with March deadlines. You can also earn a scholarship from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. This scholarship is awarded to students who excel in science and engineering fields. To date, this organization has awarded nearly $2 million in scholarship funds.

As more and more women pursue careers in aviation, the number of scholarships for women continues to increase. The Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance offers scholarships to women who demonstrate a desire to learn aviation maintenance and repair. You can also find a number of minority scholarships for students studying aviation and related fields.
