Curve grading software is a huge help if you're an educator who believes in curving grades. The math involved in grading on a curve can be most complex--when was the last time you made all your grades represent a perfect bell curve? If it was rather recently, consider how long it took to get that bell curve just right.

Curve Grading Software Is the Best Way To Effectively Curve Grades

Curve grading software takes the test scores and does all the mathematics of curving for you. All you have to do is grade the tests and enter the scores. That in and of itself is enough of a challenge--why not let the curve grading software do the rest?

The best types of curve grading software will come with a myriad of curving options. You shouldn't have to use the bell curve if you don't want to. There are other useful curving equations available; for example, another standard grading equation is to make the highest grade in the class an A and if that score was an 86%, you then need to add four percentage points to each and every test score.

Another plus to curve grading software is that it allows you to pick and choose which scores to curve. You may believe in curving test scores but not homework grades. A good grade curving program will let you design a grading policy that fits your class and curve only the grade you want.
