Avaya Business Phones

Avaya business phones can be purchased as complete systems. These systems typically include a certain number of phone units, along with outside lines. Phone systems (and prices) will vary depending on the model of telephone, as well as the number of phones and outside lines. For example, packages that include six telephones and only two outside lines will be less expensive than those with nine outside lines and 24 telephones.

What kind of Avaya phone system you should choose will depend on the size and scope of your business. Naturally, simpler packages are more appropriate for smaller businesses, while large companies will often need the most complex packages. As a rule of thumb, when planning and implementing phone systems, it's better to plan for business growth, erring on the side of too much rather than too little.

More about Avaya Business Phones

For example, a phone system that currently has too many phones, features or lines may be a perfect fit for your business a year or two from now. You can always store unneeded phones and ignore features you don't need. On the other hand, purchasing phone systems that will be inadequate a few years from now is both bad planning and ultimately a waste of money.

Besides the number of phones and lines, other important features to consider when planning a phone system are voicemail, customer service plans, product warranties, and expansion capabilities. All Avaya phones should come with warranties and customer satisfaction guarantees. However, technical features such as expansion cards or even voicemail aren't necessarily included in all models. The most basic, budget-priced Avaya models, for instance, may not have voicemail capabilities. This is why it's important to know what features are available on any Avaya system before purchase.
