Digitech Phones

Digitech phones are conventional key phone systems that were manufactured by Comdial. This line of phones has been discontinued and now can be purchased in used or refurbished condition from various office equipment retailers. Digitech phones are among some of the most economically priced Comdial models you can find. Many units can be purchased for under $200 from established business phone system retailers.

The low price of Digitech phones is partially due to their reliance on traditional switch technology, rather than the new Voice over Internet Protocol. Because they rely on an older form of technology, their retail value has fallen. However, they are by no means obsolete, and provide an excellent communications system to small businesses at a very fair price.

Digitech Phone Features

Many different models of Digitech phone systems exist. Their features vary, from number of lines and stations to speakerphone capability. Some Digitech phones have advanced calling capabilities such as liquid crystal displays, programmable keys, speed dial, and volume and mute control. Others don't. Whenever purchasing Comdial Digitech models, make sure you're getting exactly the features you're looking for.

This is especially true of when purchasing online, where you can only rely on a photo (hopefully) and, often times, a very terse description. If you're not an expert on business phone systems and you'll be doing the purchasing, it may be a good idea to enlist the help of a communications systems consultant in your Digitech phone search. Yes, you will have to pay a fee, but at least you'll be making your purchase confidently, armed with the consultant's advice and expertise.
