Merlin phones are great for small or medium-sized businesses as they allow companies to get every spent dollar back in great product reliability and service. Each Merlin phone has almost 100 years of engineering and phone design history behind it. Luckily for all enterprises, there are a number of different phones and corresponding systems to choose from.

Merlin Magix phones by Lucent Avaya are extremely easy to use and install as their internal single pair wiring will work with any pre-existing wiring in the premises. These single or multi-line phones deliver the most common telephony and office phone technology yet go a step further to utilize some of the most advanced digital technology. Even at their most basic level, these Merlin phones are perfect time and cost-saving communication tools on the market.

Legend Merlin Phones Take the Magic Further

Another very popular line of Merlin telephones are the Merlin Legend MLX phones, which use a multi-line digital extension design made to increase the power and communicative capabilities of any office or business environment. This family of phones consists of five models: the MLX-28D, MLX-20L, MLX-16DP, MLX-5D and MLX-10. The MLX-10 and 5D phones are the most basic phones with 10 or five lines and feature buttons and can come with or without a two-line, 24 character digital display.

The MLX-28D Merlin phones feature everything the basic phones do plus 28 lines and feature buttons and a built-in jack for an optional DSS (Direct Station Selector) module. If more viewing display area is needed, the MLX-20L and MLX-16DP feature wider and more expansive display screens with up to seven-line displays and 20 lines. With all of these phones to choose from, a business manager or communications agent should be able to find the right collection of Merlin telephones and accessories to help get the job done.
