When it comes to business communication systems, Toshiba telephones and systems are at the top of the recommended list. Toshiba makes digital, cordless digital and an IP phone as well as the CTX attendant console unit. Combined, all of these products can be utilized to become a strong and reliable telephone network.

Digital Toshiba telephones come in a range of different models, yet all can be found in traditional office charcoal grey and ash white to match any office furniture or design. The digital speakerphones feature buttons that can store several different feature-operational sequences, allowing extension dialing or voice mail checking in a single push. These phones are also found with large LCD digital displays for prompts or incoming calls and can be purchased with either 10 or 20 button configurations.

Toshiba currently makes two kinds of IP telephones: the Toshiba Strata CTX digital business communication system and the Toshiba IPT1020-SD. The Strata is perhaps the best seller of the two, as it provides the user with off-hook announcement, paging, plug in and extension dialing access, voice mail messaging and other important features. This phone is also compatible with any BLF (Busy Lamp Field) device capable of showing the status of a large array of phone lines (whether free, busy, or on "do not disturb").

Computer-Based Toshiba Telephones

An increasing percentage of messaging systems in businesses today are not even "telephones" at all. Toshiba offers a CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) system that connects the functions of a voice messaging unit with a Windows application capable of handling multiple calls, capture caller ID's, and create on-screen displays. This software can either be purchased individually or as a packaged system along with Strata CTX, CTI unit or any other Toshiba telephones.
