Hewlett Packard, known primarily for its printers and computers, does offer a limited selection of digital camera products. The HP cameras I've seen are generally on the novice/amateur side of the photography market. They are easy to use and don't offer too many advanced features since they are intended for novice photographers.

2.1 Megapixel HP 635XI

One such camera HP produces is the 635XI. It's only a 2.1 megapixel model, but it is just as good or better than any other two megapixel digitals on the market. It has a three times optical and four times digital zoom to bring far away objects into range. It uses JPEG image format and has automatic focus.

The 635XI has automatic as well as program exposure settings and 100, 200, and 400 ISO equivalencies. It does have an LCD screen for greater convenience, but at 1.6 inches it is slightly smaller than most other digital camera LCD screens so it might be a little harder to see. At 16 MB, its memory is a little small, so you'll definitely want to upgrade or else your memory card will fill up in no time.

As far as shopping for an HP 635XI goes, I recommend browsing online. There are many individuals and companies that sell digital cameras and accessories at discount prices on the Internet. This is definitely the best place to find bargain prices on digital cameras. You don't have to worry if you're not a digital camera expert because good sites will provide product specifications as well as reviews.
