One thing that really sets this camera apart from the competition is the excellent picture clarity. This is a seven megapixel camera that keeps pictures true to life. The colors look natural and the contrast is outstanding. It will be tough to take a bad picture with the C7000. It also has a very nice zoom lens that will let you take great pictures from far away.

Something else that makes this camera appealing is the rubber grip. It seems minor, but it's the little things like this that separate good cameras from great cameras. The black rubber grip makes this Olympus easy to hold, so you don't have to worry about dropping and breaking your expensive new toy.

When this camera first hit the market back in 2004, it was priced around $700. That price is fairly uniform for cameras with similar capabilities. Expect to pay around $600 to $800 for similar seven megapixel cameras at any electronics store. There are also discount camera websites online where you can find this and other quality digital cameras for less.
