Emf Protection

Electromagnetic fields (EMF) exist everywhere, from urban, metropolitan centers to small, rural areas. This pervasive presence is due in part to the fact that EMFs are central to the functioning of most technological devices, from televisions and radios to garage door openers and pagers. Although EMFs facilitate a good deal of modern luxury, the radiation they emit is a potential hazard to humans.

Putting Safety First

These days, you'd be lost without your cell phone. You probably wouldn't be too happy without your wireless internet connection either--or your microwave or your pod-casting radio service. We are a technologically savvy society, and we not only crave the ease of innovation, we demand it.

Yet, the principles that guide much of this technology may pose as much harm as good. In particular, scientists are concerned about the consequences of systematically increased exposure to EMF radiation. Although it is clear that high levels of EMF radiation are harmful to humans, researchers do not yet understand the consequences of low-level exposure.

In the absence of clear findings, it's up to individuals to take protective action. This is an issue well worth exploring on your own, as education will help you to make informed decisions for you and your family. There are many effective devices such as radiation shields that can be used to block or diminish the effects of exposure. You must evaluate your exposure, understand the risks, and then explore the safeguards that make the most sense for you.
