Siemens cell phones have been around for quite a long time. Siemens was actually one of the first companies to introduce portable cellular handsets to the European market in the 1980s. Siemens cell phones benefit from decades of experience and technological development, and they remain some of the best handsets on the market.

Limited Edition Siemens Cell Phones

Siemens cell phones come in over a dozen varieties, and the company also added a series of limited edition phones to their product line. The Siemens SX1 McLaren is the first in this series. Designed by the design team at McLaren Motorsports, the phone features a sleek black design unlike any other phone on the market.

The SL55 Escada, developed by Siemens with fashion designer Escada, is another great phone in the Limited Edition line. The phone has all the features of a high-end cell phone, packed into a strikingly small case. They keypad remains invisible until you slide the top of the phone upwards. The SL55 Escada comes with a silk cord that allows you to attach it to your belt or purse.

For racing fans, the S55 Formula One is the ultimate Siemens Limited Edition model. Taking after its namesake, the S55 is one of the fastest phones on the market. It features Bluetooth technology and java capability, and is great for transferring data. It is also a true tri-band phone that can be used virtually anywhere in the world.
