Siemens S65Written by Stephanie Dula The Siemens S65 is known for being primarily a phone for business application, but its 1.3 megapixel camera and 65K color display would suggest many possibilities for entertainment as well. The S65 can recognize all kinds of message files, including MMS, EMS, and SMS. The phone is among the best on the market for messaging support, and Siemens has worked hard to create a streamlined, user-friendly interface for creating messages of all kinds. It comes equipped with an integrated e-mail client (which provides ease of sending and receiving attachments) and the ability to send instant messages as well. Images, video clips, sound clips, and text can all be included in multimedia messages, with a choice of layout options. GPRS Class 10 ensures high-speed data transmission, so users are ensured a quick response from wireless networks. At first glance, the S65 is most distinguishable by its large display screen as compared to other phones of this size. This 65K TFT display is useful when using the digital camera to take and edit photos. Video clips of up to 30 seconds can be recorded with the camera as well, and the phone's ample memory comes in handy for storing such files. A reduced-size MMC card is included with 32MB of extra storage for such use. The S65 Is Well ConnectedAs is to be expected, the phone supports several options for high-tech and convenient connectivity to wireless networks, including Bluetooth and an Infrared ports. Most users agree that Bluetooth may be the faster method for sending and receiving files, but its nice to have the option. True to its nature as a "business class" phone, The S65 also includes an impressive calendar application and hefty phone book capacity.
