Sony Ericsson's K700i is a powerhouse of a phone, well designed and packed with multimedia features. The display is the first thing to notice, a large TFT screen that supports 65K colors. The integrated VGA camera makes good use of the display, as do the many multimedia and gaming applications of the K700i. The phone was designed to look like a true dual-purpose device--phone on one side and a camera on the other.

K700i Possibilities

The K700i is a phone for those who want to create a variety of multimedia creations, including video clips with sound. The phone's Media Player is capable of playing MP3 formats, and there's also an integrated FM radio. The MusicDJ application allows users to compose their own ring tones. The K700i features a good set of business applications as well.

The phone book is capable of holding over 500 contacts, each with multiple data entries. There is also the possibility to group callers together and assign specific ring tones or even a photo ID. This tri-band GSM phone comes equipped with organizer features, high-speed data transmission, and the convenience of a hands-free speaker.

The K700i's connectivity provides an alternative side to this phone, making it not just totally driven by its innovative design. The phone is Bluetooth compatible, and has an Infrared port and USB cable connection as well. The K700i is one of many phones on the market that make it possible to connect seamlessly to multiple devices for synchronization of calendars, contacts, and notes with PC software.
