Plantronics Vistas are a line of telephone adapters and amplifiers that allow you to utilize Plantronics hands-free headsets with your existing telephone. These adapters will fit most traditional desktop telephones, but must be used in conjunction with Plantronics headsets. Plantronics Vistas are available in several different models, each with its own unique set of features.

Plantronics Vistas: Models and Capabilities

The most basic of the Plantronics Vistas is the M12, which provides a simple hands-free headset interface for most desktop telephones. The M12 can connect to both single and multi-line telephones, and has a small set of features like volume control and a switch between handset and headset. Your optional Plantronics headset plugs directly into this unit, allowing for hands free conversations.

The A20 is the next model up in the Vista line. It has the same features as the M12, but it is built to fit underneath your telephone. This allows you to reduce the clutter on your desktop, placing the amplifier out of sight. The interface for the A20 sticks out at the base of your normal telephone.

The CA10 is the most advanced Plantronics Vista amplifier because it has wireless capability. The CA10 base station plugs directly into your telephone, and it acts as a broadcast station to the included wireless transmitter. You plug your headset into this transmitter, which allows you to move around your office without giving up any of the quality or features of wired Plantronics amplifier/handset systems.
