Krell audio was founded in 1980 by Dan and Rondi D'Agostino. Their mission was to create new designs for audio amplifiers, leaving behind traditional concepts of what works and what doesn't work. Today, the company is recognized as a leader in the production of high-end audio components.

The History of Krell Audio

Krell Audio's first product was the KSA-100, a first in high-powered stereo amplifiers. The product proved so popular among audiophiles of the day that they company had a hard time keeping up with demand. Two years later they introduced the KSA-50, which was a cheaper version of the KSA-100. It also became enormously popular.

By 2000, Krell Audio had expanded their line of products to speakers, CD and DVD players. Using their specialized knowledge of audio processing, they were able to create new products that were immediately better than the stuff major manufacturers had been putting out for years. Today, Krell is doing better than ever.

Unique in the world of manufacturing, Krell Audio products are still designed by the CEO of the company, Dan D'Agostino. His superior knowledge of the field and his desire to create great products has kept his company at the head of the pack. Krell products are so popular among audiophiles that they even have fan sites all over the internet, in many different languages.
