The Canon SD100 is one of the digital Elph series. It is compact and yet provides great resolution at 3.2 megapixels. The exclusive Digic and iSAPS technology developed by Canon takes photography to a new level. It has a combined zoom of 6.4X.

There are five shooting modes: auto, program, manual, stitch assist, and movie. The self-timer operates with either a 2 second or 10-second countdown. The photo effects that are available include vivid color, neutral color, low sharpening, sepia, and black & white. It is also possible to do continuous shooting at approximately 2.2 shots per second. To do this, the large/fine mode and LCD monitor is turned off.

The storage that is available on the Canon SD100 is on an SD memory card for up to 128MB. The image-recording format for still images is JPEG. There are built-in flash modes for auto.
