Songs written and performed by today's best rappers, Eminem, Outkast, Snoop Dogg, and many others, are available for download as rap ringtones. Having a popular rap tune as a telephone ring can be a blast. Not only do you get to enjoy your favorite songs whenever someone calls, but the people around you get to listen as well.

Ringtones become a topic of conversation. When hearing unique ringtones, some people will even sing along. Special rings are add-ons to cellular phones that differentiate one phone from another. Thousands of people own similar phones, but what really makes one person's phone unique to his or her individuality is the ring.

What Rap Ringtones Sound Like

Rap ringtones do not include lyrics. In most cases, if the part of the song that has been converted to a ringtone contains lyrics, the words are represented by appropriate musical notes. It is important to listen to a sample of a ringtone before purchasing it.

Some rap ringtones are right on the money in terms of sounding like their original versions, whereas others are stretches. Because ringtones are electronic, they come across as computerized and often more cheerful than the studio-recorded songs they represent. However, despite the differences in sound, the best ringtones preserve the essence of great tunes.
