The purpose of cables in home entertainment systems is to carry a signal from the source to the destination as efficiently as possible with minimal signal loss. These electrical signals can deteriorate as they travel along the cable. Additionally, they are subject to interference from other electronic sources.

Innovation in IXOS Cables
IXOS offers patented Gamma Geometry cables, which ensure a higher level of signal circulation than typical cables. This is accomplished by breaking away from the standard geometry of cables. The standard two conductors are woven together with a third. The result of this improved technology is the ability to deliver richer and more dynamic sound from the stereo or CD player to the speakers.

Another technological innovation in IXOS cables is APTIMUS, or Advanced Polymer Treated Individual Multiple Strands. Most cables used in home entertainment have multistrand copper cores. Though the sound would be improved with a solid core, this would make the cables inelastic, so most enthusiasts settle for top of the line multistrand cables. APTIMUS cables coat each individual strand with a polymer coating, and then combine these into a multistrand cable, achieving the flexibility of multistrand cables with the quality of solid core cables.

The IXOS line of IXOTICA cables brings these two innovative technologies together. These are available in digital cables as well as traditional analog cables. IXOS cables can be used to connect any of the devices within your home theater system. IXOS also has a line of products available for car stereos--so if you like their sound, you can bring it on the road with you, as well as having it in your home.
