Faith Music

The scriptures teach us that "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Through the setting of scripture to song, worship can in effect build faith, according to Christian doctrine. Faith music takes these principles, and integrates them into inspirational, worshipful music which inspires faith and belief in the listener.

The Bible is filled with examples of those who turned to praising God and prevailed against terrible odds. Jehoshaphat, the king of Israel, found victory in a daunting battle when he obeyed the Lord's command to worship. Worship historically gives way to victory, and reestablishes faith in the worshipper.

Faith Music and the Scriptures

Faith music focuses on the promises held within the scriptures, and reiterates them in song. Whether the emphasis is on songs of healing, songs of victory, or songs of blessing, these music compilations bring a reaffirmation of belief. Scripture teaches that it is through trust and faith in God that miracles and blessings transform into reality.

Of course, the scripture also teaches that faith itself is a gift from God, the creator of all things. In light of this, faith music is not a magic tool to bring about our heart's desire. It is rather a means of building our faith in God's promises, and aligning our hearts' desires with God's, for joint victory.
