Houston Texans Tickets

The Houston Texans are an NFL expansion team that has only been in existence for three seasons. In that time, the Texans have been able to quickly build themselves into a respectable member of the AFC South. They play in the brand-new Reliant stadium, which replaces the dome formerly used by the Houston Oilers.

Houston Texans: A Fast Start

On September 8th, 2002, the Texans became the first expansion team in NFL history to win their debut game. They played the Dallas Cowboys that day (their soon-to-be cross-state rivals), and it appears that the Cowboys weren't ready for a challenge. Rookie quarterback David Carr passed for two touchdown passes and defensive tackle Seth Payne sacked Quincy Carter for a safety to clinch a 19-10 win.

While the Texans have only been around for a few years (and have yet to make their first playoff appearance), their tickets are still hard to get a hold of. The Texans sell the majority of their tickets to season ticket holders. The remaining tickets are available on a single game basis and are sold at the beginning of the season.

If you're not fast enough to buy single game tickets (and they sell out very quickly), you can always ask a ticket broker if they have any Texans tickets for sale. The state of Texas does not forbid event ticket resale, so you shouldn't have a problem finding brokers in Texas or out of state. To guarantee that you find tickets, check early and often to make sure they haven't all been swiped up.
