Like many rabid football fans, I will literally do just about anything (as long as it's legal) to get a set of NFL tickets. I will wait in line, beg, borrow, eat twenty hot dogs, put on a dress and sing show tunes at a redneck bar, anything to have an opportunity to sit and watch my NFL team with friends and family. However, I'd rather not have to do these things.

NFL Tickets Make Excellent Gifts

On my 21st birthday I received the best gift anyone has ever received in the history of mankind--a set of Houston Oilers NFL tickets ten rows up on the fifty yard line. The Houston Oilers eventually cut their ties with the city of Houston and moved to Nashville and became the Titans, but I harbor no anger or animosity towards my former team. I still remember Houston losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers on a last second fifty yard field goal.

All right, so maybe I harbor a little venom towards my former team, especially since they ruined my 21st birthday. But the experience has lasted a lifetime. All kidding aside, I had a wonderful time that day with my family and close friends and I still laugh about how painful that loss was. NFL tickets create a life-long memory for anyone lucky enough to receive them.
