Pga Golf Tickets

PGA golf tickets have a broader appeal than, say, NASCAR tickets. A day in the sun watching athletes try and sink a small ball into a slightly bigger hole placed a few hundred yards away is hard to turn down. PGA golf provides as much intellect and drama as other sports without the violence. Perhaps that's why its popularity spans both genders.

Purchasing a set of PGA golf tickets usually involves deciding how many days you want to watch the event. PGA tournaments usually last four days, each day providing its own tension and drama. If, however, you do not have the time, money or desire to see all four days, I recommend buying tickets for the final day or two when the tensions are incredibly high and each shot carries enormous consequences.

PGA Golf Tickets Get You a Piece of U.S. Sports History

The Professional Golfers' Association of America, through its more than 23,000 members and apprentices, is dedicated to promoting the game of golf to everyone, everywhere. The PGA's origin can be traced to January 17, 1916, when a group of New York golf professionals and prominent amateurs attended a luncheon hosted by department store magnate, Rodman Wanamaker, to discuss forming a national organization which would promote the game of golf and help propel the vocation of golf as a profession.

Wanamaker, who viewed the public's growing enthusiasm for golf as the beginning of a national trend, promoted the association idea to help accelerate the growth of the game. Meetings were held over the next two months, and on April 10, 1916, 82 charter members created The Professional Golfers' Association of America in New York City. Your PGA golf tickets have a rich history attached to them.
