There are steps you can take to ensure a secure financial future. Whatever your credit limit, leave at least $200 available for emergencies. Be sure to make all of your payments at least a day or two before the due date if you pay online or send your payment at least ten days before the due date if you mail your payments. Always pay as much more than the minimum balance as you can afford each month. Never give out your credit card number or PIN to anyone!
