Easy Merchant Account for Processing Payments

An easy merchant account lets business owners start processing their customers' credit card and check payments in as little as 24-hours' time. By applying online and faxing signatures and forms, a merchant can have an electronic business merchant account set up in short order. If you are 18 years old, have a legitimate United States checking account and business, and have a physical address, you might be eligible for a full-featured account.

Bankcard organizations assist merchants in obtaining accounts through banks without going through extraordinary steps. There are no special computer or programming skills necessary; the merchant account setup is programmed for you, and training and support are available. Unless you have a high-risk business (check out the listings on the websites of these organizations), you might well qualify for an easy merchant account.

Online Application

Look into the website application of these organizations and you will see how simple it is. The application asks for the obvious information--business owners' names, phone numbers, addresses. Any doing-business-as (DBA) name, type of business, and kind of product/service/merchandise sold must be detailed.

You will need to know the percentage of Internet sales, percentage of mail/phone orders, and percentage of card-present (swiped) transactions. There is more information requested, of course, but none of it complex. If you are in a hurry, you can fill out the online application, authorize faxing signatures and forms, and have your easy merchant account up-and-running within one business day.
