Day Trading Advisories

Day trading advisories are one of the most popular advisory services available for individual investors. Day trading involves the buying and selling of tradable instruments in the same day with trades often occurring several times a session. Stocks, stock options and futures are the most commonly day traded instruments. These instruments are very liquid and often have larger price swings allowing for easy trading and higher profit/loss potential.

Day trading, no matter what kind, involves a lot of work. A day trader must be able to identify what to trade on a daily basis. Paying attention to news, charts, and rumors are all a part of a day trader's daily routine. Day trading advisories help reduce the amount of research time involved with day trading. When you consider the amount of time spent on research most advisory services are inexpensive compared to the cost of your personal time.

Day trading advisories are not going to be right all the time. They should be profitable more often than not but they will not be right all the time. Advisories will help an investor build confidence and develop an understanding of how the market works. Eventually there will come a time when a trader no longer needs the assistance of an advisory service to be a successful day trader.

Becoming a Day Trader

Before you join an advisory service it would be wise to find out if you can day trade. The National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) has set forth guidelines for brokers to allow day trading accounts. The NASD understands that the rewards of day trading are often exaggerated while the risks are not. The NASD wants to ensure that a person who engages in day trading understands the risks and is financially stable.
