Nonstick Scanpan cookware is produced using a patented process involving pressurized titanium-ceramic compounds. This might sound complex, but the result of the process is a pan with few imperfections. Scanpan cookware boasts a permanent nonstick layer that is not sprayed on. When the pan is forged, it is left with a craggy surface that is then filled with a patented nonstick material.
