English breakfast teas are incredibly popular throughout Europe and America. The English are famed for their tea, and starting out the day with a steaming cup of English breakfast tea is a tasty and healthy way to get the day going. There are several distinct English and Irish breakfast teas to suite your taste.

English Breakfast Tea Every Day

Every day when I wake up, one of the first things I do is start the kettle boiling. When I hear it whistle, I know my day is about to get started, as I always start it with a hot, brimming cup of dark English breakfast tea. It goes great with a meal, or it can be consumed on its own if time is short. It is part of my daily ritual and my day doesn't quite seem right if I miss it. I also enjoy the fact that I share this ritual with millions of people around the world every day.

English breakfast tea is an ideal morning drink. It is one of the strongest teas and it provides a strong boost of energy. Though you can get it decaffeinated, I prefer the traditional kind because I like the extra kick I get in the morning. It contains less caffeine than coffee and has none of the negative side effects of soda. It is great with milk too, and just a pinch of sugar sometimes.

English breakfast tea provides health benefits that will last far beyond breakfast. The health benefits of English breakfast tea improve overall health and well being if consumed regularly. The vitamins and minerals in English breakfast tea can reduce the risk of stroke, heart disease, and perhaps even fight cancer.
