Along with floral and green teas, fruit flavored teas are wildly popular among gourmet tea connoisseurs. Fruit flavored teas add a nice variety and excellent taste to any assortment of tea, and they are gaining in popularity as gourmet tea becomes more popular around the world. No longer the domain of the upper classes, gourmet teas have entered the mainstream, and tea shops are popping up all over neighborhoods and the Internet.

Popular Fruit Flavored Teas

Fruit flavor teas are generally flavored black teas. There is a wide variety of fruit flavors you can choose from to suit your taste. Like all black teas, they are full bodied and strong, and their flavor is remarkable. No matter what fruit or berry you like best, you can find a fruit tea flavor that you will enjoy.

One of my favorite fruit teas is apple spice. Apple spice black tea is a rare and tasty fruit tea that is grown at high altitudes. It is great as either a traditional hot tea or as an iced tea. Either way, you'll love the spice and fruitiness of apple spice black tea.

Another fruit tea I also enjoy is lemon ginger. It too is grown at high altitudes like the apple spice, and can also be served hot or iced. I enjoy this tea not only for its refreshing taste, but also because ginger is very good for the body. It has been used in traditional medicine for centuries and is used to cure a wide variety of ailments, including nausea.
