Lucasi Cues

Lucasi pool cues have recently become one of the hottest selling items in billiards equipment, for a variety of reasons. First and foremost is price and value. Lucasi cues come fitted with many of the best components and features you could pick from many high end cues, yet are priced at anywhere from $200 to $400. While this isn't the bottom end of the market, it certainly won't break the bank either, as far as custom cues go.

Lucasi Cues: Surprising Features for the Price

If you were to pick the most popular individual features from some of the more favored custom cues on the market and put them into one, you would have a Lucasi. The Triangle tips, Ivorine III ferrules, and stainless steel Uni-Loc quick release joints provide for a solid hit and accurate play. The precision milled hard rock maple shafts combined with beautifully hand crafted butt sections make these cues a joy to play with.

Considering the reasonable prices of these cues, the design work is surprisingly detailed and tight. Exotic hardwoods, precise custom inlays, and tight linen wraps are just a few of the features you might expect to find on higher priced cues, but are standard with Lucasi. They can be ordered in the standard weights of 18 to 21 ounces, and the interchangeable bolt weight system allows the cue weight to be adjusted.

While I'm not necessarily one to consider celebrity endorsements when buying equipment, it is nice to note that Buddy "The Rifleman" Hall plays exclusively with Lucasi cues. I'm also not one to follow fads or trends, but I think there is a reason that this cue has become a number one seller. Considering all the high end features and components and the reasonable price for these cues, it is not surprising.
