Scorpion Cues are the signature cue brand of one of the most well known American pool players of all time, Johnny "The Scorpion" Archer. Not only has Johnny Archer won over 40 tournaments (including World Championships), he has been named Player of the Year by Billiards Digest eight times and Player of the Decade for the 1990s. Archer has led one of the most distinguished careers in professional pool player history.

Scorpion Cues: Designed for Durability

Scorpion cues, like their namesake, are built for a long and winning pool career. They are made with a wood core coated with fiberglass, which significantly improves their durability and resistance to the elements. The stainless steel butt cap and plastic insert in the shaft are also designed to protect the cue from the effects of temperature and moisture, so these cues should provide precise, accurate play for their lifetime.

The maple core shafts, stainless steel joints, and LePro tips give Scorpion cues a stiff hit and play characteristics reminiscent of much higher priced cues. Linen or Implex wraps create a comfortable, no-slip grip. The designs of the Scorpion cues are as sharp as Archer himself. The transfer designs on the butt sections provide character while keeping the prices of these cues lower than their inlayed counterparts.

Scorpion cues are very reasonably priced for the performance, so they are a great choice for the budget minded player as well as the pro looking for high performance. Prices range from under $100 to $225. Scorpion also offers jump cues, break cues, and junior cues, and each cue comes with a one year warranty against defects in parts and workmanship.
