Best Board Games

Determining what the best board games are can be a rather difficult process. As a board game expert who has been playing for years, allow me to offer some recommendations that may help. When it comes down to it, fun is the most important criteria in determining what games are best.

The Best Board Games

Probably one of the best board games I have ever played is Cranium. The game is actually like four games in one. Depending on what color square you land on, you get a question from one of four categories. One involves simple trivia questions and facts. Another contains word puzzles. Another demands players hum or whistle tunes or act out roles famous actors performed. The last, and my personal favorite, is a charades like game where the word being guessed at is drawn out or molded with clay.

Another great game is Loaded Questions. The player whose turn it is asks a question of the group. "What is your least favorite food?", for example. Everyone writes down their answers and hands them to the person to the right of the one whose turn it is. This person reads the answers, and the player in the hot seat must guess who said what.

The More the Merrier

A game like Loaded Questions is more fun when there are more people playing. This way, it's harder to deduce who said what. You have to really know your friends well to win.
