Educational Board Games

Educational board games prove that the best way to learn is when you're having so much fun that you don't know you're doing it. I grew up in a house full of teachers, so we had nothing but educational games. Now that I have kids, I get the same for them. The best part is that educational board games are just as fun as non-educational ones.

Financial Educational Board Games

Monopoly is a great educational board game. It teaches kids about money, and about patience. In Moneywise, kids earn money to pay bills and taxes. This teaches children the value of a dollar at an early age, which is a skill that you are never too young to learn.

A new game about an old species is the Survival/Extinction Dinosaur Game. In it, players are dinosaurs looking for food and shelter. In a sense, you get to walk a mile in their shoes. You win the game if you get to the finish with some food.

Name This

A fun and educational game is Name that Country. The same company also makes a game called Name that State. Kids learn geography as they are given clues about a country or state. They also get to locate the state or country on a map. With games like this, the children are learning valuable lessons and are having fun doing it. This is the best way to learn.
