Fun Board Games

Cranium is probably one of the most fun board games around. Players get to act things out and do impressions. They also get to answer questions, draw, and sculpt. It's a great game to play in teams too. One of the things I like best about it is the sheer variety. The game never gets old.

Loads of Fun Board Games

Trivial Pursuit is really fun. Players answer trivia questions and collect pie wedges as they move around the board. Questions are always fun and challenging. There are a lot of different editions, but the best one is the twentieth anniversary.

Scattergories is fun and fast-paced. Players have to scramble to think of words to fit categories that begin with a randomly selected letter. It's easy to learn and hard to master. It gets pretty frenetic when people are rushing to think of words before the time runs out. I've seen people get pretty creative.

Singing Good Time

Encore is another one of the most fun board games ever in that it involves singing. Players are given a word or phrase and have to sing parts of songs that contain them. Much of the fun is in arguing over whether a song is a real song or if the player sang enough of it. Even if you can't carry a tune, it's a great game to play.
