How to Play Casino Craps

Casino craps begins with a player, or shooter, throwing the dice on what is called the come out roll. The purpose of the come out roll is to establish a point. The point is a number a shooter rolls and tries to roll again before rolling a seven, or craps. The point can be a 4, 5,6,8,9 or 10, and if rolled again before a seven the round ends. If a shooter rolls a seven the round ends and almost everyone loses.

For the beginner, casino craps can be played online for free. Playing for free is a great way to learn how to manage and enjoy all the available bets in casino craps. There are two types of bets involved with casino craps. One type of bet wins when the point or bet number is rolled prior to a seven. The other type of bet typically will last just one roll and bets on certain number combination.

For example, the come bet is placed on the die total of the next roll. If that number is rolled before a seven, the come bet wins. Or you can place a bet that a shooter will roll a hard eight, or a pair of fours, before a seven or any other combination of eight is rolled. You can place multiple bets on the table after each roll of the die in a round. Learning how to play casino craps online is a good way to get a grip on the game of casino craps.
