International Lottery Numbers

Few gamblers ever think to choose international lottery numbers, especially when there's already a sizable lottery right in their own backyards. If you look at the numbers a little closer, however, you see that international lotteries often present more favorable odds. Of course, the numbers are still stacked against you, and way against you at that, but why not up your chances every bit that you can?

The first thing to keep in mind is that when buying lottery tickets you're really buying a fantasy--and that's not necessarily a bad thing. There's a value in the thrill that comes with big lottery drawings, so if you frame your purchase of a ticket in this manner, you'll win every time. This is really no different from those casino bets that are placed from "discretionary" funds or "throwaway" money. Always consider the power of the entertainment dollar.

Making the Most of International Lottery Numbers

One of the best aspects of gaming online is that you can sometimes buy international lottery numbers without living in the host country. Increase your odds of hitting the jackpot by buying a ticket for, say, the Australian Oz Lotto, which takes six numbers from a possible 45 for total odds of about one in eight million. Sound absurd? Compare your odds against those of winning the Australian Powerball, which draws five of 45 numbers as well as a bonus ball, and you'll see that your chances improve seven-fold.

You can also choose international lottery numbers for contests in Asia, Europe, South America, Africa, or anywhere else your internet experience takes you. Oftentimes, you can also lower your local tax liability by playing a foreign lottery, but this should be the biggest problem you face. Once you've nabbed 40 or 50 million dollars you can start thinking of ways to keep a larger chunk of the action or just hire someone else to think of these things for you.
