Lotto Winning Secrets

Think for a second: if someone really possessed lotto winning secrets, would he or she volunteer to give them away for free? The answer suggests one of two things--either these people don't truly own the keys that unlock the mysteries of lotto winnings or they aren't willing to part with them for nothing. As it turns out, the latter case is often true.

Don't cash those 15-year bonds in just yet. Lotto winning secrets probably don't look or sound the way you'd expect. You won't, for instance, find lottery oracles who command you to play 15, 17, 27, 45, 48, and 50 every Tuesday through the following August. Instead, you'll receive tips from past winners on how to tilt the odds in your favor, at least relative to other players if not the game itself.

Practical Lotto Winning Secrets

Most lotto winning secrets are based on little more than plain old common sense and a little bit of statistical theory. One example of plain old sense: read the odds printed on your game ticket. Any sanctioned lottery or contest must, by law, clearly state the odds of winning each of its prizes and are bound by truth-in-advertising clauses.

When it comes to games such as Keno, which is increasingly popular at bars and clubs, take a minute to break down the winnings charts on your own. The odds of winning a prize may be higher or lower depending on the number of squares or spaces you're picking. That doesn't mean, however, that your odds of a big payout are any higher. To the contrary, it's often those games with the lowest odds of winning that offer the best chance of a jackpot.
