Trampoline CoversWritten by Donald Sparacin Trampoline covers are designed to protect your investment. Weather can destroy even the best-made trampolines. UV rays, falling tree twigs, and other debris can discolor or mar your jumping surface. Trampoline covers can save the surface when the trampoline is not in use. Trampoline Covers Can Discourage Unauthorized UseWhen you're away, trampolines cover can discourage the neighborhood kids from sneaking in for an unsupervised jump. It doesn't make for a good jumping surface, so kids won't want to jump on it. They may decide to remove it, but since they know they aren't supposed to be there they probably won't want to go through the time or trouble to do so. Yet for the adult, it takes virtually no time or trouble at all to install or remove. If you have an enclosure on your trampoline, trampoline covers may not work all that well. The poles may get in the ways of keeping it over the edge. Try to find a good cover that is made to work with a trampoline net or enclosure. They will have the correct adjustments to fit properly and snugly. Trampoline mats are built to last between 5 and 8 years of normal use. Weather can negatively effect that durability time as can other yard debris. Get all that you want from your trampoline and all of the time you expect by protecting it. Most trampoline covers cost under $100, and more than pay for themselves in jump surface protection and durability.
