Trampoline injury prevention is a must if you want to enjoy your trampoline. Every year more than 50,000 children and adults find themselves in hospital emergency rooms mostly because they failed to practice trampoline injury protection. There are many ways to insure a safe experience on trampolines. We will discuss a few of the dos and don'ts to insure trampoline injury protection.

Trampoline Injury Prevention Dos and Don'ts

The best form of trampoline injury prevention is the installation of a trampoline enclosure. Most of the serious injuries that people get from trampolines are from falling off of trampoline. The enclosure will prevent that from happening. These cage-like devices are designed to propel the jumper back toward the center of the trampoline in the event that a jumper goes a bit sideways on the landing.

Always have adult supervision when children are on the trampoline. While a trampoline is great fun, it is by no means a toy that should be used by the child alone. In fact, no one should ever use the trampoline alone, and that includes adults. Even serious trampoline gymnasts know that it is against the cardinal rule of safety for anyone to jump without a spotter.

Trampoline injury prevention needn't be anything like the fun police. Everyone that begins to jump is doing it because it's a really fun thing to do. The object is to do it safely. Follow the rules and guidelines that come from the manufacturer about trampoline injury prevention and safety and you'll do just fine and still have more fun than you ever believed possible.
