Trampoline Safety For ChildrenWritten by Donald Sparacin Trampoline safety for children is the responsibility of anyone considering the purchase of a trampoline. Even if you don't have children of your own, you can expect that the neighborhood kids will find your yard in short order. While trampolines can be a safe and really fun activity platform, it can also be very dangerous if not used properly. Always practice trampoline safety for children, whether they are your children or not. Trampoline Safety for Children Is the Responsibility of the AdultsPlease don't expect that trampoline safety for children is their responsibility. It simply isn't. The responsibility is yours to be certain that the kids are safe. If you don't have children of your own, but have kids in the neighborhood build a high fence. A trampoline is a kid magnet. It will magically call out to children and beckon each one of them to it. So, what exactly is trampoline safety for children? It means that they can never use it without adult supervision. They can never bounce with more than one on the surface at a time. There should be a trampoline enclosure securely attached to prevent them from falling off of the trampoline. And they should never attempt to do a mid air somersault, ever. You should be there to watch them and teach them the rules of trampoline safety for children and adults alike. Practice what you preach also. Even adults should use the trampoline one at a time, and even adults should have a spotter. When the kids see that you too go by the rules it will be easier for them to accept them as well.
