If your baby is suffering from infantile colic, chances are you would pay some good money for colic help that works. There are also many things you can do to soothe your baby that don't cost anything, except some love and patience.

Before you administer any over-the-counter medications or supplements to your newborn, it is important that you check with your pediatrician first. The worst case scenario is that your baby will not respond to the medication, and the best case scenario is that your baby will feel better and crying will subside.

It can be so overwhelming, and both physically and mentally draining to care for a baby with colic. Remember, a baby with colic is defined as a baby who cries for at least three hours a day (or more) for three or more days per week. Just thinking about it is enough to make you feel tired and cranky.

Therefore, if you are in the position that requires you to care for a colicky baby, get some outside support in addition to trying remedies for colic help. It is essential that you get a break so that you can rest, regroup, and simply take care of yourself. When you do this, you will be better able to deal with the arduous task of caring for your colicky baby.
